The Head & Neck Cancer Alliance is working to provide webinars focusing on different topics that will help head and neck cancer patients understand what to expect before, during and after treatment and tips on managing side effects from treatment.

Presented in conjunction with the American Head and Neck Society, the webinar will be moderated by Heather Starmer, MA CCC-SLP, BCS-S, and feature medical presenters, Liza Blumenfeld, MA, CCC-SLP and Lisa J Maccaroni RDN, CSO, LD, LDE, CDCES , BCS-S, expert presenter, Rachel Saks, MSS, LSW, OSW-C and cancer survivor, Ellen Sheffer. A dietician, a speech language pathologist, a representative from the Cancer Support Community and a HNCA Ambassador survivor will present on healthy types of holiday foods, easily consumed dishes, recipes to consider, and how to deal with the social impacts that come with not being able to eat as a part of a holiday gathering.
